We're at it again!
More building going on at Malenovice, our JV training center. This time it's down at our little "village" where the three cabins and lodge are located.
Last year we were finishing the lodge, which you can see peeking out from the photo. What a grand building it is, and gets used all the time.
The new building, called "Malenka", is the last one to be finished in this project.
It's being built on the space where the old farmhouse was (for any of you who were ever here to see us). That building was taken down and a new foundation was poured and framed, including the basement that you see in the photo above. Two stories are about to built on top of that.
It will house a cafe, kitchen, meeting space, more lodging, along with the big basement for the Malenovice workshop, garage and storage area.
Once the building is complete, we'll finish landscaping and build a small amphitheater for outdoor concerts - it will be such an incredibly special place to be!
While the "village" provides us with even more space to run multiple events, camps and conferences at the Malenovice complex, as always, our heart is to see young people have an opportunity to hear about Jesus, for young leaders to be trained, and for people of all ages to be encouraged in their walks with God.
That's why we do what we do!
